Hello faithful readers!
I would like to provide you with an explanation of my blog title. One of the main reasons I decided to go to Scotland was because of the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Her descriptions of the Scottish Highlands captured my imagination, and while most of the book series takes place in the 1700's, I knew that I had to go Scotland anyways. Plus, I could potentially travel back in time through the standing stones right? And so, the title of my blog is a combination of the magnificent series that changed my life and the fact that I am a Blue Hose. Wahoo!
In other news that is more specifically related to my trip, I leave for Stirling University on February 11th and will return to America on June 5th. Hopefully I will be able to smuggle home some sheep and have great success crashing the royal wedding!
